The downside is the wagering. It is set at 6x your deposit + bonus. This effectively makes it a 12x turnover compared to most sportsbooks that only apply it to the bonus itself. To make things more confusing, the rules differ depending on where you are playing. In Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium the requirement is 5x deposit plus bonus. While in Finland, Norway, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, Canada, Poland, and Austria it jumps to 7x. For the UK and most other countries it’s 6x.
These terms feel too heavy for what is supposed to be a simple free bet offer. It would make sense for a deposit match, but here the logic just doesn’t add up. We had to reach out to customer support to get a clear answer, and that is when we learned that free bet winnings are also subject to turnover requirements. Without asking, we would never have known.
Verdict: RoiBets gets some parts right, but overall the bonus comes with too many strings attached. If you are in the right country it might be worth a try, although in our view there are stronger welcome offers available elsewhere.
